POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Junior Tech Lead who can combine technical expertise with leadership potential to help guide development initiatives from concept through to deployment. This role is ideal for a versatile technologist with experience spanning software development, data analytics or data science, quality assurance, and solution design. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams, contributing to architecture decisions, writing database queries, driving quality standards, and mentoring team members. The company operates in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to the end-to-end software development lifecycle. Design and develop scalable software solutions using modern development practices. Analyse complex technical and business challenges and implement effective solutions. Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries and database structures. Contribute to software architecture and solution design decisions. Ensure software quality through testing and QA best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements. Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across projects. Job Experience and Skills Required: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development with exposure to technical leadership responsibilities. Background in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline. Previous Quality Assurance or software testing experience. Experience with Python , Django , and Vue.js . Strong SQL and database querying skills. Ability and willingness to develop strong expertise in PostgreSQL . Exposure to software architecture and system design principles. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience within geospatial, GIS, or AgriTech environments will be advantageous. Apply now!
