POSITION INFO:
Urgently in need of an experienced individual with Urban design and planning experience, familiar with human settlements programmes, town planning knowledge to join my public entity client in Johannesburg on a contract for 2 - 6-months'. Reporting into the Manager: Affordable Housing (SASH).
Offer advice and technical support to the relevant stakeholders
Develop support products and tools
Client liaison
Develop project plans
Draft terms of reference for the procurement of project resources
Drive the successful execution of projects
Technical report writing
Service providers performance monitoring
Develop project budgets
Budget and financial management
Review best practice
Do and oversee design work on AutoCad or related software
Record keeping
Non-negotiables:
Clear ITC, Crim and Fraud
Great track record
Completed Matric
Urban / Architectural or related built environment degree
Must understand human settlement / housing policies and programmes
Experience in the public sector / organ of state
PFMA / MFMA
Town planning experience
Computer literate
Excellent English communication - written and verbal
