JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a boutique financial services firm, is looking for a Junior Wealth Manager to join their Somerset West team.
This firm offers local and international tailored share portfolios through access to market leading offshore investment products and structures.
The is a client-facing role and will offer hybrid working.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

A degree in a finance related field such as a BCom, BSc
A wealth management or investment management qualification recognized by the FSCA
A postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Economics or Investment Management or CFA qualification would be advantageous

Skills and experience required:

At least 2 years’ experience as a Client Wealth Manager, Financial Advisor or Planner
Experience in investment advisory and financial planning. Estate planning will be advantageous
A proven track record in client management and acquisition
Extremely well presented as this is a client facing role

Job description:

Manage the existing clients and build long lasting relationships.
Introduce additional clients to the business with a focus mainly on the high-net-worth individuals.
Assess clients’ financial needs and risk profiles.
Share knowledge and product expertise with clients.
Be willing to learn about specific offshore investment related products and structures and offer these market leading products to chosen existing and potential clients.
Propose investment solutions to clients taking cognisance of each client’s risk profile and financial needs.
Executing and implementing an ongoing client service plan to ensure client portfolios are regularly monitored and relevant modification timeously executed.
Display a professional and service orientated approach to clients.
Ensure all work is in line with company compliance standards and regulatory policies/standards.
Apply a friendly and professional approach when dealing with colleagues and other businesses.
