Our client is the manufacturing industry requires the services of a
Senior Draughtsman to join their Dynamic Team

POSITION INFO:

Job Role: Junior / Senior Draughtsman

Location: Durban SA

Start Date: Immediate

Qualification:

Matric
Tertiary / Other
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a draughtsman in the facade windows and doors aluminium industry.

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently.
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawing:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for windows and doors, including layouts, assembly diagrams, specifications, material take-offs and assist in the selection of appropriate materials for projects
Utilize CAD software ensure drawings are accurate, complete, modify, maintain and meet industry standards and project requirements.
Assist in the development of detailed drawings and specifications based on sketches, calculations, and verbal instructions from senior team members.
Maintain organized documentation and records of all design iterations, revisions and correspondence related to projects.
Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and provide 2D drawings which comply to industry standards
