Key Account Manager - Mining Solutions

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
The Key Account Manager will oversee strategic customer relationships and coordinate all business activities across key mining sites. Success in this role requires deep customer insight, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to align operational needs with a world‑class product and service offering.

This full‑time role includes up to 50% travel to customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse account potential and identify future growth opportunities
• Conduct share‑of‑wallet and opportunity analysis
• Ensure full compliance with a Global Framework Agreement
• Prepare budgets and investment calculations
• Develop, implement, and update annual account business plans
• Build strong relationships with mine management teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinated product and service delivery
• Maintain account activity updates and track business opportunities
• Provide insights on innovation and operational improvements
• Implement and uphold global EHS standards
• Contribute to reducing LTIFR
• Comply with SHEQ and all safety policies, targets, and KPIs

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Formal qualification in business, mining, or engineering
• Computer literacy & English proficiency
• Valid driver’s licence
• Knowledge of mining equipment and services (advantageous)
• Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence (advantageous)
• Strong sales, business development, and value‑delivery abilities
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
