Our client the only provider Sedibeng, Gauteng in South Africa that own and operate a fully integrated, end-to-end service, healthcare waste management solution.

JOB PURPOSE:
The high-level overview of what the job is required to do

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role: Key Accounts Consultant

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Qualifications
  • Gr 12 qualification or equivalent
  • A related Tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
  • BCOM qualification will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge

  • Waste Acceptance policy
  • Commercial Awareness
  • SANS 10234
  • Local QHSE requirements
  • Language Proficiency - English / Afrikaans
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibility - Retain and expand allocated client base
  • Conduct visits on the assigned portfolio
  • Resolve the complaints
  • Gather market intelligence
  • Focal point of contact for end-to-end service for a given portfolio.
  • Resolve the payment disputes and support collection team in payment collections.
  • Process Salesforce Quotations and Budget rates Secure disposal methods and update rates and quotations
  • Liaise with Admin, Site, Debtors, Creditors, weighbridge.
  • Maintain quote tracking schedule for all rates released by the lab
  • Schedule site visits/audits for allocated clients.
  • Ensure growth by 10% MoM from extension business through geographic and service line expansion
Individual Management of performance.
  • Telephone contact on a daily basis with allocated client list
  • Find ways to improve services
  • Escalate and investigate all queries within 24 hours
  • Feedback provided withing 48 hours

Retention of portfolio revenue
  • Actively engaging with customers
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Reduce turnaround time of a complaint

Report Management
  • Update daily tracker and reports
  • Weekly customer feedback
  • Weekly actual reporting to Line Manager

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Achievement of Interaction target, call rate target, admin turn around time,
  • Churn target and baseline growth target

Knowledge management & advisory network
with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Communication with Internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that Internal and external
  • Stakeholders are updated and informed

Adherence to reduction and communication of risk levels
  • To build awareness and ensure reporting of any potential risk

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
  • Exercise due diligence towards health and safety of self and others in the organization
  • Comply with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, standards received from regulatory and statutory bodies
  • Proactively report superior occurrences, events, violations and acts that may impact employee health, safety or environment

Risk management
  • Analyse current risks and identify potential risks in the area of responsibility.
  • Report the risk tailored to the relevant audience.
  • Build risk awareness amongst team by providing support and training
