JOB SUMMARY:
Exciting senior level appointment with growth prospects exists with well established supplier of packaging products to Major blue chip customers for a strong, dynamic and analytical leader. Take charge of Key accounts within KZN, ensure customer retention, GP improvement and volume growth.  National Diploma in Sales and Marketing plus 5 years experience in Key accounts / sales management within the packaging industry secures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain professional business relationships with existing strategic customers
  • Negotiating and compiling contracts relating to pricing, rebates, stock agreements and SLA’s with customers.
  • Selling innovation for margin enhancement and strategic entrenchment with customers.
  • Ensure excellent customer relationship management with emphasis on problem solving.
  • Adhere to business plan as set by Sales Manager.
  • Gather market information related to trends, needs of customers, development of packaging and innovation.
  • Value added group services to maximise profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the customer
  • Ability to forecast and predict future sales.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers.

Qualifications / Experience:
  • National Diploma in Sales and Marketing or similiar is preferred
  • 5 years previous work experience in sales management, key account management within packaging industry
