Key Accounts/Business Development Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Plastics Recycling industry has an EE opportunity available for a Key Accounts/Business Development Manager. This will be based in the Wadeville, Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science qualification
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in the specific discipline in a specialist, supervisor or senior role in a research environment and quality time in a product development, process optimization or similar environment
• At least 3-5 years’ in the same or similar position
• Experience in a Plastic Packaging environment
• Microsoft efficiency
• Ability to interface effectively with market sectors and people
• Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to company policy and procedures

KPAs:

• Ensure that solid customer and supplier relations are built, maintained and managed to ensure timely delivery from suppliers, and customer satisfaction (internal or external)
• Development and maintenance of a market intelligence system
• Developing operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives
• Involvement in development and innovation of products
• Analysis if inventory to implement and maintain customer monthly requirements
• Effective and efficient information reporting to enable strategic decision-making
