With 30 years experience and having enjoyed outstanding success, they are looking to expand the support team and are on the hunt for a passionate L2 Support Engineer to join the Johannesburg team. (In office role - Sunninghill)

POSITION INFO:
Are you a skilled IT Support professional ready to level up your career with a top-tier MSP? Based in Johannesburg, our client is one of South Africa’s leading IT companies, with a national presence in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town. ð§ What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver advanced desktop and network support to a wide range of clients
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Work across environments including Windows, macOS, and Linux
Handle escalations, ticketing, and client support with confidence and clarity
Document processes, issues, and resolutions thoroughly and accurately

â What You’ll Need:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in advanced desktop support (L2)
Microsoft certifications (proof required)
Own car and valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills
Experience supporting server environments, networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
Familiar with ticketing systems and escalation workflows

ð Qualifications & Skills:

IT certifications like CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCP, or similar
Qualification in Computer Science, IT Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently
