LAB TECHNICIAN

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the INK MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY to recruit an LAB TECHNICIAN to be based at their offices in CAPE TOWN. R15k to R20k ctc + overtime.

OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR AND SUPPLIER OF SPECIALISED INKS, COATINGS AND ADHESIVES THROUGHOUT SOUTH AFRICA.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience working as a Lab Assistant or an Ink Technician.

Colour test passed.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Reside in Cape Town area.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Perform daily quality control checks.

Prepare samples.

Perform lab tests by following and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Conduct drawdowns/proofs for new pantone/jobs.

Colour matching for customer requirements.

Mixing and issuing ink, varnish, chemicals and other consumable items.

Maintain and track results by accurately and timeously documenting all activities.

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and supplies.

Help with administrative tasks when needed.

Remuneration:

Salary: R 15 000 – R 20 000 per month gross (experience dependent)
