The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for the position of a Lecturer in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Agriculture.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

A Doctoral degree in Chemistry
At least 2 years of relevant University teaching experience in Computational Chemistry.
Research and publication records of at least 5 peer reviewed journal articles.

Added Advantage:

Certificate in Computational Chemistry

Duties

Teach modules in Computational Chemistry at Undergraduate Level
Supervise Postgraduate research
Attract research funding and participate in community engagement
Undertake normal administrative functions related to the Department of Chemistry and Faculty of Science and Agriculture
Involvement in curriculum design, programme or module review.
