The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for the position of a Lecturer in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Agriculture.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Doctoral degree in Chemistry
  • At least 2 years of relevant University teaching experience in Computational Chemistry.
  • Research and publication records of at least 5 peer reviewed journal articles.
Added Advantage:
  • Certificate in Computational Chemistry
Duties
  • Teach modules in Computational Chemistry at Undergraduate Level
  • Supervise Postgraduate research
  • Attract research funding and participate in community engagement
  • Undertake normal administrative functions related to the Department of Chemistry and Faculty of Science and Agriculture
  • Involvement in curriculum design, programme or module review.
