Job Description
I am seeking a seasoned Factory Manager to run a factory that produces Food Products of a number of Technologies. These include Ready-To-Eat and Frozen meals. Must have run a plant that produces perishable products with a short shelf-life. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the plant and have a number of reportables, including 4 production managers and 150 staff. 24-hour operation in a fairly large plant with different technologies. You will be fully responsible for warehousing & logistics, resource management, production, budgeting, yields and wastage. HACCP, FSSC-----, GMP’s and the OSH Act should be second nature to the successful incumbent and you will work closely with Technical – both QC/QA and NPD – in passing external audits, implementing standards and conducting factory trials.
Qualifications
Must have been a manager, worked in a FOOD PLANT and be at GM type level. Must have a RELEVANT TERTIARY QUAL.
