LICENSED FORKLIFT DRIVER

Our client is seeking a licensed and experienced forklift driver with SASOL experience to ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage and shipment of their products for a 1-year contract

Duties

• Promote a safe work environment through responsible actions.
• Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment
• Adhering to safety management standards
• Clear work area of loose wood, plastic and any other debris, sweep area as needed.
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Forklift License
• Previous Sasol experience
• Must reside in Sasolburg
• 1-year minimum experience as a forklift driver
• Contactable references
• Ability to read numbers and labels.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.
• Good physical condition.
• Good organizational skills.
