JOB SUMMARY:
Sales of laboratory equipment and related products to the life science industry in the Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Responsible for sales, application training and method development for the products they oversee.
Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software.
Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers.
Visit customers according to sales and customer strategy.
Effectively following up and concluding long term high value projects.
Minor installations of equipment
Other duties:
- Business Development
- Business Administration
- Sales and Marketing of Product Portfolio
- Customer Service

Qualifications and experience:

Life Science qualification
At least 2 years previous sales experience
Typical clients: Food labs, general manufacturing labs, and medical research labs
Own a car with a valid driver’s license
Area of responsibility: Cape Town and Western Coast region
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
