Job Description
In this position you will be reporting to the commercial manager. You will have one subordinate: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Overall commercial responsibilities for the specific project
- Procurement
- Sub-Contract Administration
- Cost monitoring and reporting
- Attend client meetings
- Monthly payment valuations and dealing with client reps
- All sub-contract payments
Scope of job / project: Residential – valued at R400 mil to R500 mil
You must be prepared to travel and relocate / To commit to and understand that there will be a period of acclimatization required to settle in / You must be prepared and capable of accepting that the industry operates differently in Ireland and be able to adapt to this.
Qualifications
- BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying
Skills
- 10+ years of experience
- MS Excel and MS Word / CCS (beneficial)
