JOB SUMMARY:
District of (approximately 30km’s from) Middelburg – Eastern Cape: Our client with mainly sheep, Drakensberger cattle, Lucerne production, and a game component is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Proficient in computer use and MS office
Maintenance orientated with electrical equipment and infrastructure experience advantageous
Good financial acumen
Ability to motivate and work with staff
Strong communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Management, (which includes financial management,), marketing and day to day running of the Lusern production division,
Establishment and maintenance of pastures for grazing
Repair and maintenance of farm vehicles, machinery, equipment and infrastructure (including buildings, roads and earthworks)
Management of a team of workers (5)
Record keeping and reporting
