JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Lab Technician will be trained to perform chemical analysis according to SANAS ISO17025 methods with the opportunity to develop as a technical signatory.

Requirements:

Qualification: A relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum experience: 2 years’ experience in a testing lab
Basic computer skills (particularly excel)
Excellent numeracy skills
Ability to work with accuracy and precision even when under pressure
Well organized in work habits with neat, orderly and traceable documentation.
Strength of character, resilience and tenacity
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with clients, staff and management.
Willingness to be part of a small high performance team
Willingness to work overtime to ensure the jobs are completed on time.
