POSITION INFO:
To operate the lamination machine efficiently to produce high-quality laminated products within defined productivity and waste targets. The role also ensures machine upkeep, adherence to safety, quality management systems, and food safety compliance while supporting smooth plant operations through accurate documentation and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate the lamination machine with high efficiency
- Meet production output and process waste targets as per plan
Product Quality
- Ensure laminated output meets job specifications
- Zero tolerance for quality complaints or rejections from QA or customer
Machine Maintenance
- Report malfunctions immediately and coordinate with maintenance team
- Follow routine checks and minor adjustments independently
Safety & Hygiene Compliance
- Follow all personal protective, industrial safety, and hygiene standards
- Adhere to food safety norms and GMP practices during machine operation
Material Reconciliation
- Record input/output usage per shift
- Ensure proper accounting of adhesives, films, and laminate stock
Team Discipline & Coordination
- Comply with HR rules and guidelines (entry/exit, dress code, discipline)
- Maintain respectful and collaborative behavior within the team
Training & Development
- Continuously upgrade machine operating skills through on-job training
- Support the team in learning and process improvements

Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Relevant Experience
- 2 to 6 years of experience operating lamination machines in flexible packaging or printing industry
Technical and Behavioral Competencies
- Good understanding of adhesives, substrate properties, and lamination parameters
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and machine upkeep
- Knowledge of safety standards, hygiene protocols, and quality systems (QMS, GMP, Food Safety)
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office preferred)
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and team orientation
- Presentable, alert, and willing to learn under guidance of senior operators or supervisors
