SUMMARY:
We looking for 10 year plus experienced Structural Engineer to Lead our unit.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: • Design and Analysis: Perform structural engineering design and analysis for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports. • Site Supervision: Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. • Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant local and national regulations. • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff. Qualifications: • Education: BSc\/BEng degree in Civil Engineering. • Professional Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with ECSA. • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering consulting, with a focus on design, project management, and contract administration. • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in engineering software such as Prokon, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Experience with civil design software is advantageous. Skills and Competencies: • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge in Civil & Structural engineering principles and practices. • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly. • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve engineering problems effectively. • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff. • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
