Lead Developer - Android

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for talented Android Developers to join their innovative team and help them push the boundaries of mobile technology.
Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Work with modern Android development tools including Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
• Implement architecture patterns like MVVM to create scalable and maintainable apps.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• At least 5 years of experience working on Native Android mobile development (Compose and the Android SDK preferred).
• 3 years of experience in leading the design and architecture for complex Android applications.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin, i.e. Co-routines, Observables, Live Data, Flows and Streams.
• A proven track record of making key technical decisions and setting development standards.
• Mentorship experience, guiding and uplifting other engineers in the team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical vision and trade-offs.
