SUMMARY:
Do you have exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities? A dynamic and international market leader is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to form part of the companyÃ¢Â€Â™s Senior Structure. You will be responsible for guiding and directing Design Engineers on technical related aspects.

POSITION INFO:

Provide production support and liaise with suppliers

Liaise with customers on implementations regarding cost effective use of design resources

Delegate tasks and assignments to design engineering personnel

Project management

Organize and take lead on design reviews according to customer specifications

Maintain customer product sales

Administrative duties

Skills & Experience:

Mechanical design engineering experience

Exceptional planning and team leadership skills

Computer literate (Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent task management skills

Extensive experience in 3D CAD design

Maintain bill of materials

Able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Great eye for detail and proficiency

Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)

Minimum of 10 – 15 years’ experience

Qualification:

BSc / BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
