SUMMARY:
Our client in the Training and Development sector based in Johannesburg (Alberton) is currently looking to employ an experienced Learning Programme Design and Development Officer.

*6 Month Contract Position*

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years working experience within the field of learning material content design and development within the skills development arena (Preferably as an ODETD Practitioner).
Experience in learning programme planning/curriculum design and development of learning content.
Diploma in Human Resources or Training and Development (preferable).
Experience in assessment of plagiarism.
Demonstrated experience developing online and hard copy study materials to meet design requirements.
Experience in working with sector SETAs and QCTO, Higher education environment.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

Contribute to the design and development of all new skills development programmes and or short.
Learning programmes, working in collaboration with the project leader, clients and strategic partners, associations and/or others.
Provide support and guidance to facilitators and assessors during the roll-out of new products/programmes.
Integrate the principles of teaching and learning to guide the development of highly engaging and effective modules.
Ensure that content is created and aligned to the institutional templates and policies and implementation strategies.
Generate feedback from sector SETAs, the QCTO and other bodies on the efficacy and suitability of new skills development material.
Research and benchmarking on existing and new skills development programmes.
Support the QA process of new programme/product design and development throughout the various stages in the creation of training/learning material.
