JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Forestry sector is looking to employ a Learning and Development Officer to join their team in Mthatha Region (45km from Mthatha).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Must possess a matric certificate or equivalent
Must possess a National Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
Must possess a valid OETDP certificate
Knowledge of the Sawmill Industry will be advantageous
Must have 3 year’s experience as a qualified training officer in a similar environment
Must be computer literate in Microsoft Packages
Must have previous exposure of an ERP system
Must be knowledgeable of SAQA, QTCO, SDA and the SETA structures
Must be knowledgeable of the BBBEE codes and the EEA
Must have a valid driver’s licence

Person Requirements:

Must have the ability to work and communicate with various stakeholders
Must have a high level of commitment to accuracy, quality, attention to detail and be methodical
Must be able to work without supervision
Must be result orientated and keep the training records up to date
Must possess ability to initiate, have energy and be driven
Must be an individual that is service orientated and be able to handle pressure
Must be a person of integrity
Must be accountable
Must be able to transfer knowledge
Must be a team player
Good problem-solving skills
