SUMMARY:
Purpose of the role:
This role of a Learning and Development Specialist is to be responsible for the strategic planning and delivering of learning and development programmes in line with the company’s strategy and the L&D strategic agenda.
The primary focus of this role is to design and implement best practice learning design and delivery methodologies to ensure that the business strategy is realized through the focused development of its workforce.

POSITION INFO:
Key Skills needed for this role:

Knowledge and understanding of all relevant labour legislation; Human Resources practices, Policies and Procedures including SETA Landscape, Processes and Procedures.
Working knowledge of and exposure to best practice in Learning and Development.
Understanding of skills development in relation to B-BBEE & transformation.
Proven ability to analyse and design learning solutions to a variety of people driven business challenges through research and innovation.
Proven ability to produce insightful, strategic HR reports using L&D data analytics and other analysis tools or measures.
Proven ability to manage a team of L&D practitioners and specialists in multiple locations.
