Lecturer - Faculty (Emergency Care & Critical Care)

Education:
BTech: Emergency Care Practitioner
Registered with the HPCSA as an (EMC or BEMC)
ACLS and PALS instructor certification preferred
Advantage to your application:
Post graduate teaching qualification
Previous experience at a training facility
Current ACLS and PALS certification
BLS Instructor

Work experience required:
Minimum of 2 yrs operational experience as Emergency Care Practitioner
Willing and able to work outside of Gauteng region as/when required
Good understanding and working of the HPCSA is required
Computer proficient (MS Office suite) is required
Good communication skills
Key areas of responsibility:

• Teaching & facilitation of all the learning programs at the faculty, CHE, HPCSA, AHA, HWSETA and DoL programmes
• Preparation & presentation of theory and practical sessions to the students
• Facilitate clinical learning in hospital and pre-hospital environments
• Assist with student mentorship and tutorials
• Actively engage in CPD, quality assurance, research and peer review
• Assist with the marketing of the faculty
• All administration related to the position
