JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements and competencies:

Relevant degree in Education with specialisation in Accounting/Economics/Business Studies (Lecturer Master’s, Senior Lecturer Doctoral)
A professional teaching qualification
Experience in teaching Accounting/Economics/Business Studies in Higher Education commensurate with the academic rank
A track record of research and publications in accredited national and internationally recognised research journals within the areas of Accounting, Economics and Business
Evidence of postgraduate supervision experience
Evidence of academic leadership

Duties:

To teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of Accounting/Economics/Business Studies, and any Education Studies Modules
To take part on issues of curriculum renewal
Supervising postgraduate students
To Carry out research and produce research publications
To engage in community outreach and collaborative
To participate in training and assessing student teachers for and during school-based work integrated learning
