Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Commerce with LLB as a Postgraduate qualification from a recognized law school with strong academic credentials.
Qualified legal practitioner member of the Law Society of South Africa in good standing.
6 to 10 years of post-qualification legal experience preferable in healthcare, commercial, or corporate.
Proven experience of independently working in a dynamic and challenging environment, either in a law firm or a legal department of multinational company.

Should have handled complex legal matters, including integration, litigations, investigations, corporate restructuring, data privacy, etc.

Position Summary and Objective:

Key legal partner for South Africa and providing professional and proactive legal support in all areas including Human Resources, Finance, Sales and Key Accounts, Government Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Supply Chain, Quality, Communications, Market Access, and Operations.

Identifying legal issues, legal options and analysis of possible legal solutions and providing recommendations for critical issues to ensure that business and legal objectives are met.
