SUMMARY:
Legal Practitioner – 6 month contract

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a Temporary Legal Practitioner to provide critical legal support across contracts, policies, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with public sector experience.

Minimum Requirements:

LLB degree (minimum)
Admission as Attorney or Advocate
3–5 years post-admission experience in the public sector
Experience drafting legal opinions, policies, and contracts is an advantage

Scope of Work:

Vet, draft, and review contracts, SLAs, and MOUs
Conduct legal research and prepare opinions for senior management
Support litigation management and labour-related matters
Draft and review internal policies and legal documents
Maintain legal and risk registers, and compliance tracking tools
Prepare reports, briefs, and compliance submissions
Provide ad-hoc legal support as required
