POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Preferably 5yrs experience
• At a later stage (within the next year), this person will need to support Southern Africa as well, as we develop further into this region.

• Bachelor degree in Law (preferably Contract or Business Law)
• Applicant should have a legal educational background and have at least [5] years of working experience in an international lawfirm or corporation in a legal or compliance function

• Will coordinates and manages Legal, Compliance and Data Protection topics within the Southern African Subsidaries as an interface between the corporate function General Counsel (including Legal, Compliance and Data Protection/Information Security) (the “Corporate Function”) and the regional and local organization. 
• (ii) to support the companies to be successful while keeping legal risk to a minimum, 

1. Ensure that the companies and their employees are able to comply with legal conditions by providing information, advice, structure, and training with a high level of business acumen.
2. Legal counsel works in close coordination and cooperation with the Corporate Function and within the framework set out by Legal, Compliance, and Data Protection/Information Security including the pertinent legal risk management systems.
