SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client in the medical schemes industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal and Corporate Governance Manager to join their team in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12
LLB
Admission as an attorney
Membership with the Legal Practice Council (formerly the Law Society)
Minimum of 8 years of managerial experience in a legal environment
Medical Scheme industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services.
Oversee compliance programs and manage all legal and compliance concerns.
Assist the executive team with risk management and governance matters.
Handle litigation on behalf of the organization.
Assist with policy development in line with legislation.
