JOB SUMMARY:
A multi-faceted aviation company has a requirement for a legal and Corporate Governance Manager with integrity and strong analytical and communication skills to fill this position in Durban. English and French (written and verbal essential) is essential

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and written communication (French and English a must)
Excellent literacy skills with an extensive vocabulary
High attention to detail
Project Management skills
Deadline driven and effective time management skills
Ability to give constructive legal advice and feedback
Ability to work with a team or standalone and self-manage deadlines and tasks to
completion
Personal integrity
Compliance and risk management
Ability to work remotely from various teams needing assistance from global offices
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and DOCUSIGN

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

Tertiary qualification in Law/Legal or a related field
Knowledge of French, South African, Irish, and Mauritian law (advantageous)
Experience in Company Secretarial and/or Corporate Governance and /or Compliance
Officer work in a global environment
Experience in drafting contracts, resolutions, agreements, SLAs (ability to demonstrate
effective contract writing skills)
Experience in aviation (advantageous)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience
Languages: English and French (written and verbal essential)
