JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Library Project Coordinator for a 12 month contract vacancy based in KwaZulu Natal

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with Degree / National Diploma in Public Admin majoring in Project Management and / or Librarianship with formal Project Management Certificate
3+ years relevant working experience with project coordination / implementation experience
Good command of English and isiZulu plus any other indigenous language of the province is essential
MS Office proficient with an Education / Training facilitation background advantageous
Unendorsed drivers license and willing to travel frequently
Candidates resident in KZN would be given preference

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Coordinate the procurement, installation and functionality of hardware and software
Train public library staff in the use of hardware and software
Identify and encourage impaired people in communities to receive training
Administer all documentation related to projects and ensure project is implemented as planned
Management report writing and tracking of progress
Individual and group discussions and presentations to market the services
Motivate staff members in promotion / facilitating services

Salary: Up to R37 125.00 per month CTC for ideal candidate
