SUMMARY:
Are you the kind of sysadmin who lives in terminal, breathes uptime, and dreams in Bash? We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Linux Systems Administrator to join our client’s fast-moving, no-corporate-fluff tech environment, powering major South African brands.

POSITION INFO:

Keeping Linux servers (Ubuntu or RedHat-based) running smoothly and securely
Managing cloud environments and virtualisation tools
Handling monitoring, backup, recovery, patching, and scripting like a pro
Securing environments through hardening, access control, and automation
Supporting key enterprise clients in sectors like retail and finance

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–7+ years in Linux systems admin (or more for senior level)
Strong command line skills, especially with Bash/shell scripting
Exposure to Postgres and Oracle databases
Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), containers (Docker/K8s), and automation

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
