📍 Luxury Lodge | Mozambique
An exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to take full responsibility for the smooth and sustainable running of lodge operations.
🔧 Key Outputs:
• Oversee all lodge maintenance: electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, air-conditioning, carpentry, building & general repairs
• Manage solar systems, hot water systems, generators, water treatment & sewerage
• Implement and control routine & preventative maintenance programs
• Manage large teams and maintenance projects
• Conduct regular water testing and record water levels
• Advise on equipment upgrades and replacements
• Set up and manage water & power budgets and costs
• Maintain accurate records for generator hours and servicing
• Ensure maintenance work is scheduled around guest comfort
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
🌱 Sustainability:
• Implement and manage the lodge sustainability programme
🎓 Knowledge & Requirements:
• Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Valid PRDP Licence
