SUMMARY:
A Well Established company seeks a Logistics and Transport Manager In Cape Town ( Maitland)

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or Operations Management
OR
Minimum 8 - 10 years proven experience in heavy transport and construction logistics.
5+ years’ experience managing fleet operations.
Experience in container, modular building, or construction logistics (highly advantageous).
Strong knowledge of abnormal loads and route planning.
Experience with fleet tracking systems.
Valid driver’s license (PDP advantageous).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transport and Fleet Management

Plan and schedule container deliveries and collections.
Manage company fleet (trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts) and subcontracted hauliers.
Ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Act and load regulations.
Optimise routes and manage fuel consumption.
Oversee vehicle maintenance and licensing.
