LOGISTICS ADMIN ASSISTANT

Our client is one of the most respected businesses in the Robertson Valley. They have a vacancy for a LOGISTICS ADMIN ASSISTANT based at their head office in Ashton.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate intakes on export system and check for differences between packhouse and export system
- Liaising with customers, producers and marketing team with regards to information needed
- Registering new customers, producers and pack codes on export system
- Shipping documentation and invoices to customers
- Assist with loadouts to customers – local and exports
- Monitoring crate and pallet transfers between packhouse and customers
- Registering shipping claims and follow-up with shipping lines / insurers
- Signing off logistics invoices and allocating costs to shipments
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literate – be proficient in Excel
- Experience in logistics in the fruit industry
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Attention to detail
- Strong administrative and analytical skills
- Need to be able to work under pressure
- Team player
