Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main purpose of the position is to learn and assist the Logistics Department in the Packed Product Division.

Responsibilities:

Logistics of External Warehouses
- Booking of timeslots
- Communication to external warehouses
- Customer Service
Logistics of Procurement and Workshop
- Ensuring that all collections on Smartsheet adhere too
- Completing and populating Smartsheet files daily
Administration Of Flowbins, Bags, and Pallets
- Ensure flow bins, bags and pallets are returned from Customers
Coordinate Wholesalers and Assist with Retailers
- Assisting with slot bookings
- Creating load sheets
- Booking of trucks and following up on the progress
Assist with Cake/ Bulk/ Seed Division
- Creating load sheets according to the Sales Orders
- Booking of trucks and following up on the progress
Client/ Customer Services
- Investigating returns from Customers
- Following up on returns from Customers
- Assisting with times slots arrangements
General Administration
- Assisting with load sheets
- Creating and moving of Sales Orders
- Following up on trucks schedules

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

Minimum of a Grade 12
Logistic experience will be an advantage
Computer Literate
