SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Controller to manage the accurate and timely delivery of products to international customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, communicating with service providers, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory control.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Previous experience in the fruit/agriculture industry
Tertiary qualification

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure fast and efficient delivery of product to international customers
Engage in regular communication with service providers such as shipping companies, port facilities and logistics service providers
Ensure timely schedules for shipping
Maintain accurate and consistent records
Address errors to promote client satisfaction
Manage inventory and dwell time and ensure timeous shipment
Coordinate timely and accurate shipments from port to overseas customers
Capture and process loading of product
Provide source documentation to logistics agent
Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
Identify and fix logistics errors
Oversee on time delivery to port
Receive orders and add to inventory, process on system
