Logistics Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Ensure smooth operations exporting various goods to various countries meeting deadlines and ensuring happy clients

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator that willl liaise with clients and freight companies to ensure smooth transfers and troubleshooting problems and finding solutions under pressure.

Key Requirements
• ± 2 years ’experience in the logistics and freight industry preferably with
perishables/fruit routing experience and some time spent in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification advantageous
• Fruit industry knowledge
• Planning with clients and follow through
• Strong numerically with good commercial acumen
• Excellent with Excel and Outlook
• Attention to detail whilst working under pressure

• Communicate and liaise effectively with all levels within the company

• Display IT system and Microsoft office proficiency
• Deadline driven with accuracy and detail orientation
• Proactively anticipate problems and determine solutions
• Ensure that goals are achieved / meet deliverables and deadlines
• Develop strong internal and external business relationships
• Think pro-actively and pre-empt needs.
• Function effectively and efficiently under pressure.
