Logistics Coordinator – Bellville
Logistics / Export / Supply Chain
Full-time | On-site

Our client is a well-established export company known for delivering high-quality products to international markets. They are now seeking a detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic operations team and ensure seamless, efficient movement of goods across global supply chains.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers and processes, and has a strong interest in logistics and international trade.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

BCom degree in Logistics, Marketing, or International Trade (advantageous)
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English (written and spoken)
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proficient in MS Office

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with cold stores, transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
Manage export bookings and shipping documentation
Perform Q67 checks and reconcile forecasts vs. available stock
Issue loading notifications and monitor container ageing and steri-related issues
Prepare and analyse temperature deviation reports
Provide vessel status updates across all export markets
Communicate packing specifications to packhouses according to client requirements
Verify packing orders against pack-outs and reconcile stock from packhouses
Prepare packing lists and invoices for freight forwarders
Allocate stock to markets and issue packing plans
Send invoices and documentation to clients
Ensure timely receipt of shipping documents
Update all quality specifications on internal systems
