Logistics Manager

SUMMARY:

Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Logistics Manager to ensure the efficient control, dispatch & delivery of the correct quality product to suppliers, manage product stockpiles and ensure compliance to Health & Safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: (Not limited to)

• Ensure the company meets its operational requirements
• Ensuring the availability of resources and product
• Ensure quality of products being dispatched is excellent
• Ensure all logistical equipment is maintained & serviced
• Detail reporting product & fleet availability, internally and externally
• Submit weekly/monthly stock detail reports to the business
• Monitor stock variances
• Attend all relevant supplier & contractor meetings
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Management and attending to all customer queries

• 6 - 12 years’ relevant experience in Logistics Management within the Coal Mining Industry
• OHSA/ MHSA knowledge and understanding
• Proficiency in using the Klerk Scale
• Strong Communication & Listening Skills
• Good Administration & Report Writing Skills
• Strong Numerical Skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
