• Matric
• Relevant Diploma / Degree in Logistics and Transport
• Professional Membership: Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport would be an advantage

• 8-10 Years of experience in Logistics Management.
• 5 Years Supervisory experience.
• Computer literate on SAP System and MS Office
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
• In-depth knowledge of first tier automotive industry
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
• Record of successful warehousing, distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of specialist systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Bill of Material (BOM) and customer data systems.

• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
• Move materials, goods and products (including importing and exporting) to ensure supply demand is achieved.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, clients and contractors’.
• Organizing, managing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods received and dispatched.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle through close liaison with procurement department.
• Ensure correct picking of spares, consumables and customer orders and ensure correct process flow is followed.
• Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.
