SUMMARY:
Western Cape FMCG based company is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their Cape Town based team.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Skills:

• Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics (Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelors Degree)
• Min of 5 years in a management position within a Logistics function

• To lead the Logistics function for inbound and outbound areas of logistics including material receiving and customer delivery
• Stock Management
• Management and control of spares and equipment administration
• ERP system updates (Inbound and Outbound Logistics)
• Replenishment forecasting
• Efficiencies, controls and effective management of warehouse
• Fleet management (owner driver allocated vehicles)
• Managing of pallet system
• On-time deliveries, meeting/ exceeding service levels and resolving delivery queries to customer satisfaction
• Address customer complaints
• Execute effective collections
• Liaise with sales to meet and exceed service levels
• People Management
• Food Safety Policy adherence
• General management of site security
• Food safety defence
