Logistics Officer/Manager (Senior position)

Our client is a well established company whom specializes in the Defense industry. They are expanding and is looking for a Logistics Manager/Officer to join their team.

Area: Centurion (Gauteng)

Salary: Market related (Depending on experience);

Benefits: Medical aid.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience as Logistics Manager/ Officer;
• Experience in the Defense industry will be a bonus;
• A qualification in Logistics or a similar Degree;
• Own transport and valid license;
• Well presented and good communication Skills.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensuring the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization;
• Organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods;
• Ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations;
• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service;
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle;
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and customers.
