Logistics Specialist

SUMMARY:

An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking the above to actively co-ordinate and control the Warehouse movement in required systems for Row Crops and Crop Protection products including scheduling and planning of loads on TMS and coordinating the returns process.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have at least a Certificate in Business Administration or related
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Administrative Role will be required
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience would be beneficial
• Must be Computer Literate with SAP knowledge

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting daily checks on open deliveries.
• Coordinating picking slips and stock transfers.
• Planning deliveries and creating shipment documentation.
• Preparing delivery notes.
• Checking of documentation for completeness, including return of delivery notes and filing thereof.
• Processing goods receipt of all customer returns when received at the warehouse.
• Monitoring daily customer care deliveries and keeping spreadsheets for KPI calculations.
• Supplying credit to customers when sampling is completed, and results of seed are verified by the laboratory.
• Ensuring all consignment stock is returned and SAP system updated.
• Assisting with stock takes and inventory control.
• Controlling all transport invoices for carrier on TMS system, verifying costs and utilising company resources in an efficient manner in order to control cost.
• Complying with goals (DPR) set for quality, reliability, cost and people.
• Attending safety meetings and ensuring all training for CBT is compliant.
• Procuring non-stock items for the warehouse.
• Being familiar with and adhering to established ESH procedures, rules, and work practices.
