JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for the overall management of the Supply Chain of the Vault and Warehouse including but not limited to Inventory Management, Forecasting, Procurement and Warehousing.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification & Experience Information

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
At least 8 years’ proven Logistics and Warehouse experience
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
In-depth knowledge of the banking industry’s standards and regulations preferred
Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
Experience in implementing Operations Excellence/WCM/Lean principles in a Warehouse environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the implementation and monitoring of key performance measures for the Inventory Management functions.
Demand Management
Lead Time Management
Inventory Policy Setting
Inventory Order Management
Excess Stock Management
Repairable Stock Management
- Manage the warehousing function and ensure delivery against targets
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of risk management relating to the securing of stock, health and safety
- Manage the optimal utilization of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and ensure preventative maintenance in compliance with the Health and Safety act
- Design, implement and manage all Procurement processes in line with requirements
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing costs
- Control and monitor expense budgets
- Ensure that appropriate skill levels are developed in staff to allow for good business practice.
- Address any staff discipline or grievance issue, maintaining appropriate records
