POSITION INFO:
An established corporate finance \/ advisory environment is looking for a high-potential newly qualified CA(SA) who has recently returned from international secondments and is eager to build a career in M&A. This is a strong entry point into deal execution, valuations, and transaction advisory work within a fast-paced, high-performance team. The role is ideal for someone who has seen best-practice finance environments abroad and now wants to apply that exposure in a transaction-focused setting, working closely with senior dealmakers on live mandates across buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory work. Key Responsibilities: Support end-to-end M&A transactions including buy-side and sell-side mandates Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, scenario analysis) Assist with valuation analysis and investment case preparation Prepare pitch books, teasers, and client presentations Conduct industry, company, and competitor research to support deal origination Participate in due diligence processes and data room analysis Work closely with senior team members on structuring and execution Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Newly qualified CA(SA) (essential) Experience: Exposure to international secondments or cross-border finance environments (advantageous) Audit, advisory, transaction services, or corporate finance exposure preferred Strong academic and training background Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical ability High attention to detail with commercial awareness Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Non-negotiables: Newly qualified CA(SA) Genuine interest in M&A \/ corporate finance High-performance mindset with willingness to learn quick For more exciting Finance vacancies, please visit: \/> If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
