MANUFACTURING DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree qualification in a related technical area or equivalent. Chemical Engineer
- > 5 years experience in Production / Manufacturing environment or related industries,
- Experience in Modern Manufacturing philosophies and WCM work practices
- High level of computer and systems literacy
- Experience in the application of performance management processes

The incumbent is required to:
 Manage and provide technical support and coordination of the Manufacturing Development function to the Manufacturing department.
 Facilitate the development and execution of the implementation of WCM / Work practice strategy.
 Manage and facilitate improvement of Best Operating practices across the group
 Manage the Integration into the Quality Management Systems and compliance audit assessment tools to ensure ongoing commitment to WCM performance and continuous improvement.
 Coordinate and serve as a Quality expert in problem-solving/FFAs.

Outputs:
1. INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK (IMF) i.e. QESH entrenched, INTERNAL & EXTERNAL AUDITS MANAGEMENT (WTL, BOP, HACCP, GMP, WTL, etc.
2. FACILITATE IMPROVEMENT OF BEST OPERATING PRACTICES
3. CONTINOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS & PROBLEM SOLVING
4. CORRECTIVE ACTION MANAGEMENT
