JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree qualification in a related technical area or equivalent. Chemical Engineer
- > 5 years experience in Production / Manufacturing environment or related industries,
- Experience in Modern Manufacturing philosophies and WCM work practices
- High level of computer and systems literacy
- Experience in the application of performance management processes

The incumbent is required to:
ï§ Manage and provide technical support and coordination of the Manufacturing Development function to the Manufacturing department.
ï§ Facilitate the development and execution of the implementation of WCM / Work practice strategy.
ï§ Manage and facilitate improvement of Best Operating practices across the group
ï§ Manage the Integration into the Quality Management Systems and compliance audit assessment tools to ensure ongoing commitment to WCM performance and continuous improvement.
ï§ Coordinate and serve as a Quality expert in problem-solving/FFAs.

Outputs:
1. INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK (IMF) i.e. QESH entrenched, INTERNAL & EXTERNAL AUDITS MANAGEMENT (WTL, BOP, HACCP, GMP, WTL, etc.
2. FACILITATE IMPROVEMENT OF BEST OPERATING PRACTICES
3. CONTINOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS & PROBLEM SOLVING
4. CORRECTIVE ACTION MANAGEMENT
