Job Description

 

This  Head of Finance position for a Renewable Energy Company reports to the Country Manager and is a challenging role with lots of scope & opportunity to show your abilities & make a difference.

You will proactively support the different areas of Finance in the performance of accounting, cash/bank, tax, customs and audit activities, ensuring the proper functioning of them.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure the punctual and correct information to Spain of the AR/AP invoices and the creation of new suppliers or customers
• Make generic journals as well as the posting of deferred charges in coordination with the rest of the departments and Spain
• Good and punctual Fixed Assets and amortization calculation
• Inventory control and materials management
• Prepare payments to be carried out by Spain, ensure necessary fundings and help the cash forecasting made in Spain
• Support to the externalized tax consultancy and the team in Spain to ensure the proper and punctual local tax presentations and reports to be made
• Support the local BEE and Trust requests handled by an external local consultancy
• Support custom topics through the local agent
• Help the country manager to carry out any action locally
• Help administratively with documents signatures and other finance/account activities
• Leader of the annual audit process

 

Qualifications

 

• Relevant Economics Degree - CA and Honors in Economics

 

Skills

You will have at least 7 – 10 years’ Financial and Accounting experience, of which 5 in Renewable Energy and have:

• SAP Experience
• Experience in International Organization
• High level of English and Basic Spanish
