Introduction

Requirements
Valid driver''s license and own vehicle is strictly required.
A willingness to work shifts and overtime hours is necessary.
Candidates must have mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities are required.
The ability to read technical drawings and schematics is essential.
A high level of safety awareness and physical fitness is necessary.
Qualifications
Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science
Alternatively, a technical N2 or N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects is acceptable.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Prior exposure to PLC or HMI systems is advantageous.
A basic understanding of maintenance and workshop systems is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Assist qualified Millwrights and maintenance staff with daily electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
Participate fully in practical workplace training and theoretical learning components.
Help troubleshoot, find faults, and perform repairs on machinery and equipment.
Execute preventative maintenance routines and inspections under proper supervision.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and structural maintenance instructions.
Complete all assigned work in strict accordance with corporate safety standards.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices in workshop and production zones.
Assist with new installations, plant modifications, and equipment upgrades.
Accurately update training logs, maintenance logs, and job-related records.
Work productively within a team while building problem-solving and technical expertise.
Attend all required training sessions, trade assessments, and development activities.
Carry out additional operational tasks allocated by supervisors or management.
